Autowiz is compatible with all the cars which have an OBDII port. Most of the cars manufactured post 2004 in UK and Europe have an OBDII port. The location of port may vary from car to car but it is typically found above the pedals. Get in touch with us for more information regarding the OBDII port in your specific car.
Autowiz OBD GPS device uses standard OBDII Protocols to read the data from the OBDII port of the car. It is a plug and play device that does not require any wire cutting. Hence it has no impact on the warranty provided by the manufacturer.
AutoWiz comes with a SIM card that can record your car's data anywhere in UK and EU countries. AutoWiz device uses 2G (GPRS) connectivity to send your car location and condition data in real time to the cloud. Thus, you can track your car using AutoWiz if your car is in a location with 2G network coverage.
In such a scenario, your car data is temporarily stored internally in the device and is sent to the AutoWiz cloud server when the connection becomes active again.
Your car data is securely stored in the AutoWiz server. Cloud server and uses Industry Standard Information Security to protect the information. Each AutoWiz Device has a unique device ID and device password. Only those who have access to both the device ID and device password will have access to car data.
Yes, AutoWiz is a plug and play device that enables you to use it across cars. You can plug out the device at any time from one car and plug into the other car. In the AutoWiz App, you can use the Delink device and Link device options in the Settings screen in order to maintain separate information in the App regarding your two cars.
When you receive the AutoWiz OBD device, the box will contain a subscription terms document. You can send us the signed document (by email or WhatsApp) along with your address proof and ID proof copies. Upon receiving these, we will send you your unique AutoWiz Device ID and password for you to start using AutoWiz.
When you receive the AutoWiz OBD Device, the box shall contain a brief installation guide to help you get started. Here is a quick summary of the steps:
1. Find OBDII port in your car
2. Plug AutoWiz OBD Device into the OBDII port
3. Install and Sign Up in AutoWiz App on your mobile
4. Set up your car details and link it to the AutoWiz Device using the AutoWiz Device ID and Password.
5. Start Driving and see your car Location and other information in the App
Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to complete the AutoWiz Hotspot Installation process.
1. Find OBDII port in your car
2. Plug AutoWiz Hotspot Device into the OBDII of your car
3. Switching on the ignition would activate the wifi in your car, inorder to access the wifi kindly input the Wifi SSID and Wifi Password provided to you
4. Install and Sign Up in AutoWiz App on your mobile
5. Set up your car details and link it to the AutoWiz Device using the AutoWiz Device ID and Password
6. Start Driving and view your car Location and other information in the App
AutoWiz is committed to deliver your order with good quality packaging within given time frame. We ship throughout the week, except Sunday & Public holidays. To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, in the shortest span of time, we ship through Royal Mail Services.
Orders are dispatched within 7 working days of placing the order. Most orders are delivered within 10 working days. Delivery of all orders will be duly done to the address as mentioned by you at the time of placing the order.
If you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order by email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, we will refund the entire amount within 10 working days. If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, then it will be treated as a return.
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since delivery of the order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
